Working with the local community, IPV Flexgen helped to secure funding from the Rural Community Energy Fund (RCEF) to design and develop a renewable energy project. 

The project is designed to support the existing site power needs of Birmingham and Solihull Rugby Football Club. This will provide an opportunity for the expansion of community facilities including the provision of EV charging facilities in an area of significant grid constraint (import and export).    

The project scope combines solar and battery and compressed air storage to provide both heat and power to the community facilities.
